Article 1: Scope

This professional statute is established to ensure the highest standards of quality, ethics, and professionalism in the delivery of mental health services provided by Better Minds BV.

Article 2: Professional Values and Principles

  2. Integrity: All actions and decisions shall be guided by ethical standards, ensuring transparent communications.

  3. Collaboration: We shall work in aggrement with clients, their families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

  4. Professionalism: We commit to upholding the highest standards of conduct and continuously advancing our clinical expertise.

  5. Innovation: Embracing state-of-the-art methodologies and technologies to enhance mental health care quality and accessibility.

  6. Respect: Every individual is entitled to be treated with respect and dignity.

  7. Sustainability: Striving for the organization's long-term success while ensuring financial stability and delivering superior care.

 

Article 3: Leading Professionals and Supervision

  1. The professional leadership of Better Minds BV shall be undertaken by certified professionals like Dr. Hendrik M. Koopman and Jacqueline A. Guicherit-Dicke.

  2. Supervisory roles will be fulfilled by accredited professionals, ensuring the team practices in compliance with Dutch healthcare regulations.

 

Article 4: Continuous Learning and Development

  1. We shall provide ongoing educational opportunities for therapists.

  2. Collaborative engagements with institutions like Leiden University and Utrecht University shall be pursued to remain updated with research findings and foster research initiatives.

 

Article 5: Compliance with Quality Standards and Guidelines

​

  1. Adherence to licensing and registration with the Chamber of Commerce and the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa).

  2. Multilingual services shall be provided, ensuring staff communicates effectively with a diverse clientele.

  3. We shall strictly adhere to the ethical guidelines of the NIP and NVvP, encompassing confidentiality, informed consent, autonomy, and non-discrimination.

  4. Contracts with leading health insurers, such as CZ, Menzis, VGZ, and Zilveren Kruis, will ensure the continuity of our services.

 

Article 6: Confidentiality and Data Protection

  1. All client information and records shall be treated as confidential.

  2. Data shall be stored securely in accordance with GDPR regulations, and clients will have rights over their data, including access, modification, and deletion.

 

Article 7: Complaints and Feedback

​

  1. Clients have the right to submit complaints or provide feedback regarding our services.

  2. A dedicated Client Complaint Officer will be available to address any concerns and ensure the utmost client satisfaction.

 

Article 8: Revision and Amendment

​

This professional statute shall be reviewed annually. Any amendments or revisions shall be made in consultation with the leadership and key stakeholders of Better Minds BV.
